2026-08-11 — BALANCE explainer: application-window claim corrected against CMS primary sources
An earlier version of the BALANCE explainer stated that state Medicaid applications were "due July 31, 2026" and that the window had closed — sourced from a third-party tracker. CMS's own model page and provider bulletins state that state enrollment is rolling from May 2026 through January 1, 2027, with notices of intent having been due January 8, 2026, an April 30, 2026 target for notifying participating manufacturers and Part D plan sponsors, and the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge running July 1, 2026 through December 31, 2027. The page now carries the CMS framing; primary sources outrank trackers, including the ones we relied on.
2026-08-11 — Medicaid hub: stale state examples corrected
An earlier version of the Medicaid hub named California's Medi-Cal and Pennsylvania as examples of covering states and characterized the count as "more than a dozen by mid-2026 reporting." Verified against primary and tracker sources on this date: Medi-Cal ended GLP-1 weight-loss coverage for adults 21+ effective January 1, 2026 (DHCS Medi-Cal Rx provider bulletins; California Medical Association reporting), and Pennsylvania is tracker-reported as ended. The hub now carries the corrected record — thirteen states at KFF's January 2026 count, roughly eleven by mid-2026 trackers, with North Carolina's December 12, 2025 reinstatement noted — and the hub's earlier claim that the cardiovascular/OSA indication doors "vary by state adoption" has been strengthened to reflect the federal medically-accepted-indication rules. New dated state records: California, North Carolina, 2026 change ledger.
2026-08-11 · Ownership disclosure completed; medical reviewer credited. The ownership and funding disclosure was completed: the site is operated by Ieldas Inc. under an affiliate-supported model, with the FTC 16 CFR Part 255 disclosure and a NexLife-specific note published at /ownership-disclosure/. Dr. A. Goher, MD (MBBS, Xi'an Jiaotong University School of Medicine, 2017) was credited as medical reviewer, with the review process published at /medical-review/ and reviewed-by credits added to all health articles. The "operator-stated" status definition in methodology §3 was clarified to state explicitly that such figures are supplied directly to the desk pending independent capture.
2026-08-11 · Henry Meds tirzepatide corrected $349 → $179. Two independent 2026 captures — RangeYourself (verified July 2026 from henrymeds.com) and RxPepsDirect (checked May 15, 2026) — consistently show Henry Meds' tirzepatide program at $179/mo flat, the same as their semaglutide rate. Our prior $349 figure (provider-stated, 2026-08-05) may have reflected a higher-dose tier or a different program configuration. The corrected $179 figure is now status "reported" pending our independent checkout re-verification. Henry Meds rises from outside the top ten to a tie for second place on tirzepatide month-to-month behind NexLife $169.
2026-08-11 · bmiMD added — new semaglutide m2m and 12-month leader. bmiMD entered the database as a reported-status provider with tirzepatide $139–$179/mo and semaglutide $99–$129/mo across four plan tiers (same price at every dose). Its $129/mo sema monthly rate supersedes Oak Longevity's $133 as the lowest m2m sema figure; its $99/mo sema twelve-month rate is the lowest annualized sema figure in the dataset. Tirzepatide $139 twelve-month ties NexLife. Source: RangeYourself first-party captures, verified 2026-07-14.
2026-08-11 · HealthRX added — ties bmiMD on sema 12-month. HealthRX entered the database with semaglutide $99/mo (12-month plan) and $133/mo (3-month plan), tirzepatide $179/mo (12-month) and $209/mo (3-month). No month-to-month rate is published. Its sema $99 twelve-month rate ties bmiMD. Source: RangeYourself, verified 2026-07-18 on healthrx.com.
2026-08-11 · Trimi added — lowest annualized tirz and sema, annual-only billing. Trimi entered as an annual-only provider with tirzepatide at $125/mo equivalent ($1,500/yr billed upfront) and semaglutide at $99/mo equivalent ($1,188/yr billed upfront) — the lowest tirz annual figure in the dataset, beating NexLife's $139/mo twelve-month plan, and tying bmiMD and HealthRX on sema annual. Trimi publishes no month-to-month rate and appears only in annual-basis rankings. Source: RangeYourself, verified 2026-07-14.
2026-08-11 · Eight additional providers entered as reported status. TMates, Gala GLP-1, Luvo Health, Direct Meds, Care Bare Rx, Strut Health, Synergy Rx, Enhance MD, and Sprout Health entered the database from RangeYourself's August 2026 verified data. Each carries status "reported" pending our independent checkout capture. Several (Strut Health, Synergy Rx, Sprout Health) are listed as unrankable at maintenance because only entry-dose or funnel-personalized pricing is published. Enhance MD's figures reflect a bundled metabolic program, not GLP-1 medication alone.
2026-08-11 · NexLife promotional rates recorded. NexLife's Summer Sale rate card (tirzepatide $169/$159/$149/$139 by term; semaglutide $139/$132/$125/$119; published end date August 31, 2026; "Flat Forever" rate-lock language) entered the database as the current advertised rates, labeled promotional, status operator-stated, with checkout screenshots on file. The prior standard rates ($215 tirzepatide / $165 semaglutide, first-party captures of 2026-07-20 and 2026-08-10) are retained as the standard rate card and were not superseded. Independent checkout capture is pending; on completion the status will change and be logged here.
2026-08-11 · Hims & Hers restructure recorded. Following the company's March 9, 2026 settlement with Novo Nordisk and exit from compounded semaglutide for new patients, the Hims record was converted from a compounded program to a brand channel: Wegovy $299, oral Wegovy $249, Zepbound $399, plus the $149 monthly membership ($39 first month) and $5 shipping, per dated 2026 reporting. Status: reported, pending first-party capture.
2026-08-11 · Ro record converted to brand-only. Ro's 2026 exit from compounded GLP-1s and its current structure — $39 first-month membership then $149 (about $74 monthly on annual prepay), medication billed separately at Wegovy pill from $149, Wegovy pen $199 promotional / $349 standard, Zepbound $299–$449 by dose — replaced the legacy compounded record. Status: reported, pending first-party capture.
2026-08-11 · Brand benchmarks re-verified. LillyDirect Zepbound vials confirmed at $299 (2.5 mg) / $399 (5 mg) / $449 (7.5–15 mg, 45-day refill window; $599–$1,049 off-window by dose) per Lilly's December 1, 2025 announcement and 2026 program pages. NovoCare Wegovy confirmed at $349 standard doses / $399 HD 7.2 mg, $199 new-patient introduction on the first two starter fills through December 31, 2026, oral Wegovy from $149 (4 mg tier through August 31, 2026, then $199). Status: verified.
Standing note · inherited removals. Two sub-$100 semaglutide figures previously circulating in this market (TRYM Health, Clover Meds) were removed from the predecessor dataset on 2026-07-20 after failing verification against any live page; they remain excluded here and may return only with first-party checkout capture.
